Built by a plugin developer, for plugin developers
PluginAnalytics exists because publishing a Minecraft plugin felt like shipping into the dark.
Why it exists
PluginAnalytics is made by Skilled, who writes Minecraft plugins, including The Sift on SpigotMC. Every release raised the same questions: how many of the people who open the listing install the plugin? Do servers keep it after a week? Which features does anyone use? Which error hit hundreds of servers after the last update? bStats answered how many servers run it. Nothing answered the rest, so PluginAnalytics was built to, and The Sift has used it from the start.
What we believe
- One line of code. If measuring a plugin takes an afternoon, nobody does it. Everything useful is collected automatically, from
PluginAnalytics.start(this, key). - Server owners come first. No player names, UUIDs, IP addresses or chat, ever. Players are a salted hash that differs on every server. One setting turns it off for every plugin. Exactly what is sent.
- Never hurt the server. Nothing runs on the main thread, nothing blocks, and if our service is down the plugin doesn't notice.
- Honest pricing. Free for your first plugin, with public prices for the rest. Pricing.
Facts
- For Spigot, Paper, Purpur and Folia plugins, Minecraft 1.8 to the latest.
- Runs on Cloudflare's network, with its database in Western Europe.
- Payments through Paddle, our merchant of record.
- Operated from Spain; the legal notice has the details.
