From listing views to installs

SpigotMC shows you downloads. See the whole path: how many view your listing, download it, install it and keep it running.

The problem

Downloads are the only number SpigotMC gives you, and the least useful one. They don't say how many people saw your page and left, how many downloads were ever installed, or whether the new description or GIF changed anything.

How it works

  1. Connect your SpigotMC or Modrinth listing in the dashboard.
  2. Paste a tag at the top of your description: a live badge with your server count, or an invisible pixel. Every load counts a view.
  3. Downloads are read from SpigotMC and Modrinth, and the SDK in your plugin counts the servers that install it and keep it.

What you see

  • Views, downloads, installs and servers still running it, in one funnel
  • Day by day, so you can see what a new description or update did
  • A badge that shows how many servers run your plugin, as social proof
  • Tracked links for your Discord, wiki or donation page (Premium)

Questions

How do you count views if SpigotMC doesn't share them?

The tag is an image in your description. SpigotMC loads it through its own proxy every time someone opens the page, and every load counts as a view.

Does the tag slow down my page?

No. It's a tiny image served from Cloudflare's network.

Does it work on Modrinth?

Yes. Use the Markdown version of the tag in your Modrinth description, and downloads are read from Modrinth too.
